Ea Othilde, a 21-year-old artist from Oslo, has established herself as one of Norway’s most exciting new talents with her critically acclaimed EPs How I’d Like it to Fade (2021) and Mary, Aren’t You Tired? (2023). Her debut I Will Not Be Like That (2025) album marked a bold evolution in her sound and delves into heavier genres like noise rock and shoegaze. This positions Ea Othilde as a unique voice in alternative music, with an intensity reminiscent of PJ Harvey’s iconic '90s works. 

Her releases have earned her two Spellemann (Norwegian Grammy) nominations, in 2023 and 2025. She has also made a strong impression as a live performer at major festivals such as Øyafestivalen, Pstereo, and by:Larm. 

This spring she returns with new music, starting with the first single “Florence”, released April 16 — an intense and personal track capturing a moment of self-realisation and emotional limits. Her new EP "You'll Leave the City" is set for release June 12.
