Håkon Brunborg is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer from Oslo with an extensive background from various bands and artists. Whether as the frontman of indie bands Magic Mirror and Clowder or as a collaborator with artists like Ane Brun, Fay Wildhagen, and Tuvaband, Brunborg has left his unique mark on the Norwegian music scene.

Brunborg's musical expression can be described as eclectic and exploratory instrumental indie, inspired by Japanese video games and 70s synth avant-garde. On his upcoming debut album Chimera (Mars, 2024) we encounter a blend of spiritual hand drums, captivating steel guitars, and enchanting string arrangements. His wondrous instrumental music strikes a perfect balance between accessibility and complexity: the music is beautiful, while simultaneously presenting a challenging depth.
