Sonic Løland is the music project of Norwegian musician Anders Løland (TubaTuba, Posterboys). Following the success of his debut album 'And Then The Sun Came Up' within the Norwegian indie scene, Sonic Løland quickly emerged as one of Norway's most exciting songwriters.

The project took shape after years of accumulating sound experiments and songs tucked away in “poorly named hard drive folders”. In 2020, Anders made the decision to craft an album from this rich musical treasure trove. The result was the album 'And Then The Sun Came Up', a captivating and enigmatic collection of melodic indie-folk songs, where the echoes of 60s chamber pop, the intimacy of nylon string guitar, and the allure of longing melodies blend seamlessly with VHS samples, electronic percussion, ambient textures, and delicate string arrangements.
