Punkt is a home for emerging new artists in the Norwegian music landscape, focusing on releases rooted in lyric-driven songwriting (viser) and folk music traditions.

Punkt is a sub-label of Koke Plate, but stands on its own as a space where our aim is to create a low-key environment where it’s okay to test out ideas and explore new directions. So, when songwriters reach their boiling point (Kokepunkt), we want to be there.

We also host visekvelder (songwriter nights) in intimate venues —often in our studio space, Studio Arcadia  —where artists can share new material.
